Kris “with a K” Manzano (Founder & Director) is a director, producer, and writer based in Las Vegas. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in May 2016. The founder of FPM Films, he has produced a diverse range of short narrative work and music videos. He works as an AD for film projects including the feature, Marathon, for which he additionally held the position of Production Coordinator. Outside of film production, Kris also has experience in promotions and event planning, having worked as an Allied Integrated Marketing intern. Invested in queer culture, specifically the arts, Kris was inspired to develop the Las Vegas Queer Arts Film Festival in hopes of bringing together a network of talented, queer-identifying creators, and providing a platform to share their art.
Carrieann Cahall (Festival Producer & Programming) is a local Las Vegas writer, producer, and editor. She has worked as a Volunteer Coordinator and Box Office assist for the Nevada Women’s Film Festival for its past three years. Her film work includes the independent feature The Track as an additional editor, and her short story “The Tooth Man” can be found in Red Rock Review. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at UNLV where she helped continue the production of the long-standing Neon Lit reading series, and now acts as a reader and editorial assistant for the literary magazine, Witness.
Ajá Hildreth (LVQA Ball Producer & Host) is a local fashion designer and performance artist. She/he has worked as a stylist, fashion illustrator and fashion designer in Las Vegas, London, and New York City. Her/his educational background is from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY and AIU in London, England; past projects and opportunities include working with Fashion colleague Epitome Group Inc, FPM Films, Entertainment Plus Production, and Yoga Haven. She/he has hosted FarOut events which allowed individuals to walk categories to showcase their unique talent. Currently, she/he is pursuing a career in performance art, modeling and fashion design. Ajá’s goal is to spread love through fashion, art, music and performance around the world.
Zach VanTilborg (Social Media Manager & Public Communications) is a level 20 Dragonborn barbarian filmmaker with a BA in Film Studies from UNLV. He has been working in the industry since 2014, on countless projects including shorts, music videos, commercials, and features, with a focus on Production Design. He is currently an office manager at local production company, Light Forge Studios, and remains active as a freelancer. Zach is multi-faceted, having worked on the Las Vegas Film Festival in Programming and Events. He joins the Las Vegas Queer Film Festival as Social Media manager supervising the “We’re Here” campaign and public communications.
Kelsie Stacy (Technical Producer & Programming) was born and raised in Las Vegas. She has served as Technical Producer and Festival Manager for the Nevada Women’s Film Festival since 2017. She studied both Film and English at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2015. She currently works as a content manager for an independent film production company, where she specializes in marketing, DVD authoring, and video on demand. She has also appeared on set as a production assistant.
Nadine Natividad (Volunteer Coordinator) graduated from UNLV with a bachelor's in English Literature and Film Studies. She then started working for YouTube channel Talltanic as a video script writer and voice over artist. This past year, she worked as a producer for the local feature film Shellfish. She's volunteered for the Las Vegas Film Festival and twice for the Nevada Women's Film Festival.
