Las Vegas Queer Arts Film Festival (LVQA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that is focused on creating a platform for LGBTQ+ filmmakers to share their artistic work. This is an all-inclusive, diversity-driven film festival for LGBTQ+ filmmakers and artists hosted in Las Vegas, NV. Its inaugural run will take place on November 2 - November 4, 2018 at Eclipse Theaters in downtown Las Vegas.

The festival will kick-off with an opening social mixer and Annual Ball on November 2 from 7PM-11PM in Eclipse Theaters’s second-floor bar & lounge. The opening event is meant to foster professional relationships and resource connections between LGBTQ+ filmmakers, artists, and the local film industry. Film screenings will then run on the weekend of November 3 - November 4 for ticketed audiences.

Queer art is individual to the artist and impossible to authentically reproduce elsewhere. Therefore, LVQA seeks to provide the space and screening resources for these voices to be heard and observed by a larger audience.
